Curatio International Foundation (CIF) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, established in 1994 since that has been actively focused on reforming health systems in transition economies of Former Soviet Union and beyond.
CIF contributes to reform public health system with the belief that health, more than any other aspects, determines a quality of community life. We believe that it is a must to have easy access to the essential health services in order to have community members well-developed and prospered.
CIF aims to increase the efficiency and sustainability of health systems through improving management, financial access and quality of health care by means of influencing public policy. The result is high-quality healthcare service for the people/nations.
Since the foundation CIF had been conducting unbiased analysis of the most critical issues regarding health systems and policies, and rendering the recommendations aimed at improving functionality and adequate policies.
CIF works in collaboration with a network of International and national professionals and researchers in order to bridge the gap between what is known about the problems and what has to be done for solving them.
CIF’s activities focus on the reforming of health system in the Southern Caucasus (since 1995), Central Asia (since 1998), North Africa and Middle East (since 2004).

Since the beginning of its activities, CIF has already had implemented over 100 projects and analytical researches.
Our staff counting more than 20 employees combines widely recognized and experienced national and international experts mostly known for their innovative research, insightful analytical approaches and prospective and mindful recommendations. Many of us serve as consultants for the World Bank, USAID, DFID, Sida, UN Agencies (UNICEF, UNFPA, WHO) and other international and bi-lateral institutions.
Our future priorities are to develop and widen our operational scope and coverage and meet the health care needs of various nations.
